ENVIRONMENTAL ART | LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE
PRIVATE COLLECTION, SAN MARINO CA, 2012This site specific art installation was created for the home of a contemporary art collector. There was a desire to tweak standard thinking about stereotypical garden elements such as the pristinely mowed back yard lawn. This verdant green, living carpet installation cheekily explored larger cultural questions like, who has a right to trod on a lawn and what value does a lush green yard have in California’s arid, drought susceptible climate?
