Baker Street Concept Vision Plan

LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE
Los Angeles, CA, 2018-

Baker Street Beautification Project is an effort on public improvements along Baker Street next to the Los Angeles Historic State Park and Los Angeles River. It is part of a larger proposed community re-envisioning and grew from the need to avoid turning the area into a vehicle parking lot and a further desire to highlight the area’s unique historic, cultural and natural features.

The focus area is part of the Historic Junction Block, a Historic-Cultural Monument. The project’s scope would include environmentally-sustainable, water-conserving landscaping and other improvements designed to create flexible, usable and humane public space.
